Your Career as a Channel Systems Engineer involves providing leadership and technical expertise to partners, guiding them to become key Palo Alto Networks partners. You'll provide technical expertise to support the technical sales and implementation of company products and solutions.
- Collaborate with partners, train them on technical aspects, and provide pre-sales technical assistance.
- Act as a trusted advisor, driving growth by fostering strong relationships and ensuring partners have the necessary knowledge and tools.
Your Impact:
- Serve as the primary technical leader for channel partners.
- Collaborate to develop comprehensive business plans.
- Provide technical pre-sales support, including presentations and solution architecture design.
- Identify opportunities for new partnerships and expand existing ones.
- Plan and drive detailed technical training sessions.
- Support channel partners with technical issues, acting as a liaison.
- Design and deliver customized solutions based on partner and customer needs.
- Stay updated on product roadmaps and industry trends.
- Assist in the development of channel enablement materials.
- Provide feedback on product improvements.
- Maintain detailed records of partner interactions and report progress to management.
Your Experience:
- 6+ years in Partner Solution Consulting, pre-sales engineering, or a similar technical role.
- Skilled in Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint or SASE.
- Prior channel experience required.
- Experience selling, implementing, or managing SaaS offerings preferred.
- Experience in complex sales is preferred.
- Experience architecting cybersecurity solutions is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with product installations and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel.
- Proven track record of influencing stakeholders.
- Proficient in English.
