Full-Time Channel Systems Engineer

• Technical Expertise: Background in networking technologies (Arista, Cisco, Juniper, Extreme etc.) with exposure to Data Center, Campus and Wifi networking.
• Pre-Sales Engineering: Well-versed in networking technologies with a background in Pre-Sales Engineering.
• Sales Leadership: Demonstrate sales leadership skills, delivering training and product focus to partners.
• Business Development: Develop an extended eco-system of technology and business partners. Attend industry events and run webinars for lead generation and partner relationship building.
• Opportunity Qualification: Ability to identify and qualify opportunities and RFPs, executing engagement plans.
• Solution Presentation: Translate customer priorities into Arista’s differentiated solutions, focusing on Software Defined Cloud Networking.

• Exceed sales objectives and extend the Arista brand within the channel.
• Utilize a consultative selling approach to address business needs across the Arista product portfolio.
• Qualify new opportunities and deliver sales presentations and RFPs.
• Partner with the UKI Systems Engineering team to design and position compelling solutions.
• Collaborate with channel partners to identify prospects and demonstrate solutions.
• Conduct demand generation activities such as happy hours, lunch-n-learns, webinars and technology forums.
• Collaborate with Arista peers on marketing plans and best practices.
• Keep up-to-date with technology partner solutions and competitor strategies.
• Communicate steps and dependencies to closure, managing expectations through accurate forecasting and open communication.

• 5+ years of commercial or technical experience with networking equipment (Router, Switch, SDN, SD-WAN, Campus Networks, Network Virtualization, NFV), data centre, and/or network automation solutions.
• Proven track record of pursuing and closing deals with partners or end customers.
• Fluent English is essential.
• Currently resident in the UK.
• Bachelor Degree (BA/BS,CS,BBA) or equivalent in Computer Science / Networking. MBA desirable.
• Demonstrated people skills and ability to cultivate and maintain relationships at all levels.
• Proven track record of building business plans, documenting the processes, and exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to travel to regional partners within the territory.
