Full-Time Channel Systems Engineer - Cortex

Channel Systems Engineer (Cortex) Responsibilities:

• Present Palo Alto Networks security platform to strategic channel partners.
• Act as technical advisor to partner sales and technical teams.
• Own technical relationship with partners, providing demos, training, and ongoing engagement (onsite, online, and via phone).
• Manage technical content delivery and build relationships.
• Develop and execute business plans with CBM and partner leadership.
• Collaborate with regional SEs and sales teams to drive the business plan.
• Impactful Tasks:
• Recruit, enable, and train partners.
• Communicate objectives aligned with Palo Alto Networks objectives.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Technical enablement/training to strategic/national partners
• Position Palo Alto Networks with other partner technologies
• Support partner business planning
• Develop and execute technical readiness plans, including measurable achievements
• Provide localized technical training for partners (pre-sales and post-sales)
• Support product/service training for partner sales teams
• Promote Palo Alto Networks support model
• Collaborate with CBM/regional sales teams on business plan development
• Communicate business advantages of partnerships with Palo Alto Networks
• Understand and communicate partner objectives
• Provide product demos across the platform
• Participate in partner business planning, supporting execution of the partner technical business plan
• Facilitate partner Sales Engineers (SEs) in achieving certifications.
• Oversee partner pre-sales activities including competitive analysis, test plans, demos, proofs of concepts and RFPs
• Cross-communicate Palo Alto Networks and partner value propositions.
• Understand and present Palo Alto Networks security platform.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 6+ years experience as a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer, Solution Consultant, Sales Engineer, or Systems Integrator
• Pre-sales experience with commercial customers and partners
• Techno-commercial pre-sales experience in network security (NGFW, IPS/IDS, WAF, DNS security, etc.), cloud security (CNAP, CWPP, WAAS, etc.), and secops (EDR/XDR, SOAR, SIEM, threat management, SOC, etc.).
• German Language Skills (C1 level required)
• Strong communication, listening, and presentation skills
• Ability to build strong relationships
• Experience with system installation, configuration, and administration
• Experience emphasizing L2-L4 Networking
