Full-Time Channel Systems Engineer- Cortex

National Channel Systems Engineer: Presenting Palo Alto Networks solutions to strategic channel partners.

Responsibilities:

• Represent Palo Alto Networks as a technical advisor to channel partners.
• Build technical relationships with partner teams.
• Conduct product demos, training, and enablement activities.
• Manage and deliver technical content.
• Support partner recruitment, enablement, training.
• Develop and execute business plans with CBM/regional sales team.
• Provide technical training to pre-sales and post-sales resources.
• Support product/service training of partner sales teams.
• Collaborate on channel partner business plan development.
• Understand and communicate business advantages of partnership.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Education: BSCS or equivalent, 6+ years experience.
• Experience: Pre-sales systems engineer, solution consultant, sales engineer, or systems integrator.
• Technical Skills: Network Security (NGFW, IPS/IDS, WAF, DNS security), Cloud Security (CNAP, CWPP, WAAS), Security Operations (EDR/XDR, SOAR, SIEM).
• Communication & Presentation Skills: Strong communication and listening skills. Clear and precise communication, logical structure of information. Ability to ask clarifying questions.
• Technical Proficiency: Systems installation, configuration, administration, routers/switches, UNIX/Linux, Windows (prior Active Directory/LDAP experience desirable). L2-L4 networking, switching architectures (Spanning Tree), IP routing (OSPF, BGP), load balancing.
• German: C1 level proficiency required.
