Music to My Ears (MTME) is a creative arts project supporting young people affected by CCE. We use music, photography, film-making, and other creative arts to engage them and build trusted relationships. We're an outreach service, working in diverse settings convenient for young people.
About the role: Deliver interventions to C&YP to build resilience, confidence, healthy relationships, and positive decision-making. Use creative arts to engage and facilitate dialogue where traditional methods might not be suitable.
Main Duties and Accountabilities:
- One-to-one work with vulnerable C&YP.
- Assessments and risk management plan development in liaison with professionals and partners.
- Manage a caseload of up to 10 young people.
- Develop and review care plans with young people.
- Build strong relationships with referring agencies, police, Surrey Risk Management Meeting (RMM) partners, and other agencies.
- Record interventions, contacts, outcomes, and correspondence according to service specifications.
- Complete monitoring information for feedback reports.
- Complete Outcome Stars for progress tracking and identifying needs.
- Undertake Child Exploitation training (including Solution-Focused Therapy).
