Full-Time Cloud Architect GCP CCOE France

Your future work environment: You join a CCoE team spread across France. Depending on your assigned tasks, you will work within Sopra Steria internal teams to support Business Verticals with GCP Expertise throughout the entire cloud transformation project sales process and project launch. You will also participate in client-facing projects as a GCP Technical Expert.

Your role and responsibilities: As a Certified GCP Cloud Architect, you will bring your expertise in GCP solutions:

• You will support internal teams and clients in their cloud and multicloud strategies, advising them on architecture choices for a compliant and operationally excellent IT system.
• You will design and implement GCP solutions that meet client needs, while ensuring security, resilience, performance, and optimized costs.
• You will support the development team in building solutions considering the constraints and patterns of the target cloud platform.
• You will also participate in internal activities including:

• Skill management within verticals (training and certification support, experienced profile recruitment, knowledge capitalization and sharing, technical community animation)
• Sopra Steria's relationship with our Google partner, showcasing our expertise
• Business management (co-managing the business pipeline, contributing to structured pre-sales activities, supporting complex delivery topics)
• Communication through articles, blogs, white papers, and participation in GCP events (GCP Summit, Google Cloud Next, Sustainability Summit, Security Summit, Data Cloud Summit).

We support you in implementing Sopra Steria methodology and associated tools.

Your profile:

You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent and have 5-10 years of experience in cloud architecture design, using GCP.

You are service-oriented, attentive to your interlocutors' needs, and capable of providing relevant solutions. You are a team player and enjoy sharing your knowledge.

You possess the following key skills:

• GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification and expertise.
• Cloud architecture
• Cloud security and network security
• Multicloud architecture design
• Solution development (e.g., Java, Go, Python, JavaScript)
• DevSecOps automation
• Agile & DevOps methods

Skills/certifications in other hyperscalers or private clouds are a plus.

Your interpersonal skills, diplomacy, adaptability, discretion, and customer service orientation will be essential for success.

You are fluent in English.
