Job Details
Principal Cloud Consultant is responsible for defining cloud strategies, migration roadmaps and building cloud governance models. You will help global customers successfully adopt public cloud to support strategic goals.
Help customers adopt AWS, Azure, or GCP, providing technical and strategic guidance to accelerate cloud transformation. Lead customer engagements from pre-sales to delivery, acting as a link between customer, sales, and technical project teams.
Conduct customer workshops, understanding technology and business drivers and presenting technical concepts. Work with Product Managers to improve Cloud Adoption portfolio, providing insights on customer projects and market trends.
Advise on technology and strategic vision, define cloud adoption and migration strategies, and hand-off to architect and migration teams.
Required Skills and Experience
- Advanced English and German (mandatory)
- University degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years of experience with public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Consulting experience in large IT or Management Consulting companies
- Sales/Pre-sales experience
- Deep technical understanding of public cloud technologies and practical experience in adoption/migration
- Experience implementing Cloud Adoption Frameworks (AWS, Azure, GCP) and best practices
- Familiarity with application discovery tools and cloud migration software (helpful but not essential)
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Strong analytical thinking, self-organization, and customer focus
- (Advantage) Basic knowledge of DevOps, PaaS, SaaS, Containerization, VM/Database Migration
- (Advantage) Experience with Oracle, MS SQL, NoSQL Databases
