Job Title: Cloud Portfolio Leader - Networking
Reports To: Cloud Chief Technologist
Description: The Cloud Portfolio Leader will drive a portfolio of offerings within the Cloud Business Unit - Networking. This role provides technical thought leadership and directs offerings that form part of the overall Cloud strategy. Ensures the successful evolution of Cloud services, focusing on portfolio growth in networking.
Ideal for Enterprise Architect/Network Architect seeking to build a portfolio for client strategy discussions, or an Architect wanting more client-facing interaction on long-term networking strategies.
Home-based with travel to UK customers and offices (London HQ, Cambridgeshire, Belfast, Scotland).
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand objectives and develop strategic cloud offering roadmaps.
- Analyze existing cloud capabilities to identify expansion/growth opportunities.
- Develop cloud offerings and architecture blueprints considering scalability, security, compliance, and cost efficiency.
- Provide thought leadership on emerging cloud technologies, trends, and best practices to drive innovation.
- Partner with strategic partners and innovators to stay ahead of developments and ensure offerings reflect leading trends.
- Partner with cross-functional teams for consensus and alignment on cloud initiatives, fostering collaboration.
- Monitor performance of cloud offerings, supporting optimization and innovation.
- Act as trusted advisor to clients, delivering executive-level presentations/workshops, and strategic recommendations to support decision-making.
- Chair portfolio working group with stakeholders to gain input and drive agreed roadmaps.
Key Objectives:
- Support Cloud business growth aligned with business goals.
- Provide leadership to the Cloud portfolio on roadmap and strategy.
- Be the focal point and technical contact for the Cloud portfolio, supporting all teams on the sale and delivery of offerings.
- Raise company profile through engagement with Industry Analyst responses and briefings.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with Cloud Networking providers (WAN, LAN, WiFi, Cloud Architectures, NVA, Firewall, Load Balancing)
- Certifications from Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Azure, AWS
- Experience presenting and positioning complex solution portfolios to customers
