Commercial Sales Engineer Summary: Works with go-to-market teams to present solutions addressing customer business challenges to technical and business stakeholders. Collaborates with clients' senior leadership to define use cases, prioritize initiatives, and create business case criteria aligning with their IAM & PAM program investments.
What You'll Do:
- Establish a standard demo approach for Privilege Access Management Solutions.
- Strategize with account managers to optimize client engagement.
- Deliver high-quality Proof of Value (PoV) / Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements highlighting Delinea's value proposition.
- Develop new concepts and programs to drive pipeline with target customers.
- Leverage public speaking, industry commentary, and social media to build awareness.
- Articulate the Delinea vision and strategy with prospects, customers, & partners.
- Identify industry trends and growth opportunities.
- Address technical obstacles hindering opportunity closure.
- Collaborate with Product Management on feature requests & suggestions based on feedback.
What You'll Bring:
- Demonstrable experience building relationships with technical and business stakeholders, providing trusted advisor services to clients.
- Ability to combine business and technical metrics to support business case creation.
- High proficiency in cloud computing, containers, and their application to customer challenges.
- Working experience with MS Windows, MS SQL Server, Active Directory, and strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux.
- Working knowledge of authentication protocols (SAML, OAUTH, LDAP, Certificate, PKI, Kerberos).
- Strong communication skills with technical and business stakeholders.
- Understanding of the convergence of PAM, IAM, IGA, CIEM, DREAM, and overall Identity and Access Management.
- Knowledge of CyberArk, Thycotic, Centrify, BeyondTrust, Sailpoint, Savyient, Forgerock, OneIdentity, Okta, Ping, or other relevant providers.
