As a trusted international supplier, NEC Software Solutions requires compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks and specific stakeholder requirements. NEC SWS is certified to multiple international standards. The Compliance and Audit Officer works within a small, multi-national team ensuring compliance across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extensive experience with ISO 9001 to support and improve the Quality Management System.
- Produce, deploy, and monitor the annual compliance training program.
- Ensure NEC SWS operates within various ISO standards (Information Security, Service Management, Quality Management, Business Continuity, Environmental Management).
- Arrange, facilitate, and produce accurate minutes of management reviews, Steering Groups, and Business Continuity Exercises.
- Discuss potential certification changes with Senior Compliance Officer.
- Conduct internal and external audits.
- Update and track corrective and preventative actions.
- Create and maintain centralized management system documents.
- Conduct assurance audits of major suppliers.
- Prepare and deliver training workshops on documentation and process changes.
- Manage business continuity management system documents.
- Facilitate Business Continuity exercises.
- Facilitate the creation and deployment of annual compliance training.
- Facilitate 3rd party audits as needed.
- Assist with other compliance and audit activities as required.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience with ISO 9001
- Ability to quickly assimilate and record information
- Planning and organization skills
- Strong communication skills at all levels
- Management of small team improvement projects
- Producing accurate and high-quality documentation
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Understanding of international standards (ISO)
- Experience working in multi-disciplined environments (Security, Business Continuity, Service Management, Quality, Environment)
- Previous auditing experience
