Full-Time Consulting Director - Security Operations

Your CareerThe role of Consulting Director in Unit 42 is a senior-level consulting position. The individual will lead and directly oversee a team of Consultants.

The Consulting Director will work with a dedicated BDM and CSM to deliver pitches and manage client relationships. We seek a passionate cybersecurity professional. You will be a continuous learner and knowledgeable about emerging trends and technologies. You will serve as a trusted advisor, deliver technical consulting services, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and advocate for innovative approaches.

Your Impact

• Oversee proactive consulting services, ensuring consistency, quality, and exceptional customer service.
• Provide expert proactive SOC assessment and transformation services, delivering findings to CxO/Board.
• Work with BDM/CSM for pipeline generation activities.
• Lead scoping and service overview conversations, presenting with credibility and authority.
• Partner with the Unit 42 executive team and service line leaders.
• Drive innovation in proactive offerings, managing the consulting team and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Manage team productivity through utilization targets.
• Collaborate with peers and leaders to drive operational and practice development.
• Recruit and onboard top talent.
• Support consultant growth through training and enablement.
• Foster a culture that attracts and retains dedicated team members.
• Identify and execute strategies for service development, enablement, and product adoption.
• Cultivate and maintain client relationships.
• Amplify Unit 42's presence through thought leadership (speaking engagements, articles, etc.).

Your Experience

• 12+ years of hands-on cybersecurity consulting experience, including at least 4 of the following:
• Security operations
• Application security (including AI)
• Cloud security
• Red & Purple teaming
• Cybersecurity risk assessments
• Cybersecurity strategy & transformations
• Cyber crisis management
• Zero Trust
