We manage two legal entities: Jobs for Humanity, a nonprofit, and HumanityAI, a C-corp, both incorporated in Delaware, USA.
Our goal is to hire a CPA with experience with QuickBooks to ensure that all financial statements are up to date and that we file taxes with the IRS correctly and on time.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a similar role.
- Strong grasp and understanding of financial controls and best practices.
- Experience in external audit.
- Able to work to meet tight deadline deliverables, and be flexible to prioritize multiple tasks and deliverables.
- Ability to summarize findings and conclusions in a succinct and professional manner, tailored to senior management and board-level audience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
Nice to have
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Experience working in a global finance environment, with previous experience with US Companies.
- Strong Excel skills, with financial modeling experience.
