The Team: The Capital Markets team secures loan funding capital. We collaborate with institutional investors on various financing solutions (securitizations, whole loan sales, co-investments, etc.).
Job Overview: As a Credit & Capital Risk Management Associate, you support risk management initiatives for loan portfolios and co-investments. Analyze and interpret credit underwriting and performance drivers within AI-based lending models. Your insights shape risk management strategies and investor narratives in a dynamic market.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage credit risks across loan portfolios and investment structures.
- Conduct data-driven analysis of credit performance and underwriting trends.
- Develop investor-facing credit narratives and advocate for AI-based credit underwriting models.
- Collaborate with capital markets, analytics, and finance teams to improve risk assessment frameworks.
- Support internal and external reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in credit risk, capital markets, structured finance, or a related area.
- Strong analytical skills (handling complex cashflow models).
- Excellent communication skills (translate complex analysis into clear insights).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with AI-based underwriting models.
- Experience with large datasets (SQL, Python, VBA).
Compensation: Base salary range: $101,500 - $140,330 (USD). Compensation varies by location. Bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits are included.
Location: Remote within the United States, with opportunities for in-person collaboration.
