Job Details
Neighborhoods.com is seeking a customer advocate to provide customer support via various channels. This contract hourly role supports customers by creating and assigning leads, resolving inquiries, and maintaining customer service excellence.
Shifts: 7 AM to 7 PM US Central Time.
Location: Anywhere in the US. Must be legally authorized to work as a 1099 contractor.
Role Duration: 3-6 months, potentially longer.
Rate of Pay: $16 USD/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture relationships with leads through calls, emails, and chat.
- Ensure customers understand the value of neighborhoods.com and 55places.com.
- Follow conversation scripts for a consistent experience.
- Listen to understand lead needs and connect them to the appropriate agent/team.
- Support internal customers by resolving questions and concerns.
- Escalate issues to the Customer Engagement Operations Team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills (spoken and written English).
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- 2+ years of customer support experience (email, phone, chat).
- 50Mbps+ internet speed for video/VoIP calls.
- High School diploma or equivalent.

- Help desk/remote support tool experience.

- High-volume call environment experience.
- Basic real estate knowledge.
- B2B customer support experience.
