Cyber Threat Intelligence Lead will lead the technical direction of the threat intelligence function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth technical analysis of threats (malware, network traffic, vulnerability research).
- Develop and deliver threat intelligence reports to senior management.
- Drive adoption and integration of threat intelligence technologies.
- Develop and maintain a robust threat intelligence infrastructure.
- Research and implement innovative analytical techniques.
- Streamline and automate threat intelligence workflows.
- Develop tools and scripts to enhance efficiency.
- Document and disseminate best practices.
- Develop and maintain custom threat intelligence feeds.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts.
- Conduct peer reviews to ensure high-quality products.
- Collaborate with other security teams (incident response, security operations, engineering).
- Share threat intelligence findings.
Basic Requirements:
- 5+ years cybersecurity experience (threat hunting, incident response, digital forensics, cyber intelligence).
- Deep expertise in security technologies (EDR, SIEM, cloud security, network security).
- Proven experience with threat intelligence platforms, data analysis tools, and scripting languages (Python, SPL).
- Tactical, operational, and strategic knowledge of the cyber threat landscape.
- Knowledge of industry-recognized frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, Kill Chain, Diamond Model, NIST Incident Response).
- Experience in network and host-based analysis and investigation.
- Experience with Splunk SPL, LogScale, and EDR tools.
- Understanding of complex enterprise networks (endpoints, network, email, identity management).
- Deep understanding of network and host-based security concepts (protocols, operating systems, security tools).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- On-call support during nontraditional hours.
- Self-motivated and team-oriented.
- Relevant certifications (GCIA, GCIH, etc.) are a plus.
Additional Requirements:
- Fully Remote: Position contributes from a non-NBCUniversal worksite.
- Eligibility for company-sponsored benefits.
Salary: $115,000 - $140,000 (bonus eligible)
