Visa's Red Team proactively identifies weaknesses in Visa's security posture and recommends necessary controls and procedures to cost-effectively protect Visa services from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure, or destruction. Visa's internal Red Team experts simulate adversarial threats and attacks in a timely manner through internal and external ethical hacks of Visa applications and systems. They also help design, develop, and recommend security solutions to protect Visa data and systems. This includes assisting with compliance objectives, guiding other functional units on information system protection, reporting on security adherence, and recommending new policies and procedures.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct high-risk and sensitive ethical hacks of internal and external applications.
- Coordinate and execute advanced Red Team and ethical hacking exercises.
- Design and develop scripts, frameworks, and tools for complex, undetectable attacks.
- Review results of ethical hacks to determine severity and ensure proper remedies.
- Perform penetration and remediation testing and reporting.
- Identify network and system vulnerabilities and recommend countermeasures.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of findings and proposed mitigations.
- Coordinate Red team briefings and presentations to non-technical audiences.
- Provide technical support to Business Leaders in streamlining protocols and tools.
- Define and develop training agendas for security professionals.
- Research emerging technologies and design frameworks for Red Team exercises.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years with an Advanced Degree, or 2+ years with a PhD, or 11+ years of experience.
- Expertise in advanced exploitation and post-exploitation attacks.
- Prior experience in Red Team exercises.
- Experience writing proof-of-concept exploits, custom payloads, and modules.
- Knowledge of system exploits (e.g., buffer overflows), custom payload development, and web application exploitation.
- Proficiency in security tools and frameworks (e.g., Metasploit, Cobalt Strike).
- Understanding of cryptographic concepts and applied cryptography.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Python).
- Experience with exploit development or system modules in C/C++ is a plus.
- Experience with reverse engineering, malware analysis, and forensic tools is beneficial.
- Experience leveraging AI for Red Team capabilities.
- Good interpersonal, facilitation, and leadership skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of network environments, access control methods, and security tools.
Work Arrangement:
- Remote position.
- Potential for work special hours (late nights, weekends).
- Occasional on-site presence at a Visa office location.
Salary
118,200 USD to 214,150 USD per year (U.S. Applicants Only).
