Full-Time Cybersecurity Shift Lead

• Lead and coordinate SOC analysts during assigned shift.
• Serve as the first line of escalation for high-priority or complex security incidents.
• Oversee real-time monitoring, analysis, and triage of security alerts.
• Validate incident documentation and ticketing.
• Enforce adherence to playbooks, runbooks, and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Provide shift handoff summaries and briefings.
• Mentor and coach team members to drive skill development and career progression.
• Assist with onboarding of new analysts.
• Participate in operational planning and post-incident reviews.
• Collaborate across internal teams to support customer onboarding.
• Maintain awareness of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a SOC or cybersecurity operations role, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Certified in one or more recognized cybersecurity certifications.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, and other security tools and platforms.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment with rotating shifts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with MDR service models.
• Exposure to incident response frameworks (NIST, MITRE ATT&CK).
• Experience with multiple customer environments in MSSP/MDR contexts.
• Prior experience with mentoring or team training programs.
