About The Battle of Giants:
The Battle of Giants aims to assess a company’s growth potential and ability to innovate.
Role: As Data Analyst, you will analyze and publish insights on different companies’ growth initiatives, comparing them to the competition and determining their future impact.
Responsibilities:
- Research
- Data cleaning
- Writing
Requires knowledge of economics, corporate strategy, and data analysis.
Team Support: You will work with a team of data engineers, developers, and fellow analysts.
Problems to Solve:
- How to best transform data for analysis?
- How to improve data features for machine learning algorithms?
- How to visualize and communicate insights effectively?
- What are the core elements of an investigative story?
- How to make insights more actionable for clients?
Tools: Python/NLTK, SQL in Mode, Tableau, Trello.
Expectations: We seek a leader who can question assumptions, investigate root causes, and think outside the box.
