Full-Time Data Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst with expertise in data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau to join our team. In this role, you will transform data into actionable insights by developing, designing, and maintaining dynamic dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a passion for translating complex datasets into clear and engaging visuals, and the technical skills to work with large datasets across various platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making and improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau to provide stakeholders with insights into key metrics.

• Analyze and interpret complex datasets, drawing meaningful conclusions to support business objectives.

• Work with various data sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and cloud-based platforms, to pull and integrate data for analysis.

• Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and design data visualization solutions to meet those needs.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports and dashboards.

• Implement and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics.

• Provide training and support to end-users to help them understand and effectively use data visualizations.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize dashboard performance to ensure timely and reliable access to insights.

• Document processes, data definitions, and best practices for data visualization and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis and visualization, specifically with Power BI and Tableau.

• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

• Strong knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes.

• Experience with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) in Power BI and calculated fields in Tableau.

• Familiarity with data warehousing and business intelligence (BI) concepts.

• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

• Strong communication skills to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and quality.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R for advanced analytics.

• Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Qlik) is a plus.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud for data integration.
