As the Data & Analytics Lead, you will be responsible for enabling the use of data across the organization and driving ecommerce analysis and insights. You will own the collection, design, modeling, visualization, and democratization of data across multiple teams. You are a passionate data leader with the ability to synthesize complex ideas into simple communication for a variety of audiences (from data-curious to data-driven).
This position reports to the VP of Ecommerce & Digital and sits on the Digital team but will collaborate with a number of functions across the company to make data accessible to end users of all levels. This role is remote and open to candidates based in United States.
Key Responsibilities
Omnichannel Business Analytics
- Partner with multi-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver comprehensive reports and dashboards that allow business teams to make informed decisions
- Analyze financial, ecommerce, wholesale, operations, and marketing data
- Build dashboards, uncover insights, and provide recommendations to improve our digital product, ecommerce, customer marketing, and business strategies
- Create and automate reports/tools to communicate actionable insights that drive decision-making
- Prioritize data requests, ad hoc analysis, and creating new dashboards
Data Architecture Strategy & Governance
- Own the data roadmap and communicate the data strategy effectively and simply to functional leaders and executives
- Drive consensus for and maintain a clear data dictionary and source of truth for key business metrics
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance, in partnership with external vendors
- Develop and implement data strategies aligned with business goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to make data accessible to end users
- Maintain data architecture and reports to meet business needs
- Address and resolve internal stakeholder questions involving data, tool usage, and reporting
- Oversee and control data usage costs associated with vendors, partners, and third-party tools.
- Own, maintain, and optimize data ingestion, transformation, database design, and visualization with the goal of data democratization
- +5 years of experience as in a data or business analytics role in CPG or in an agency environment supporting CPG brands
- Strong proficiency in SQL
- Experience with Snowflake, DBT, FiveTran, Looker/PowerBI preferred
- Experience with direct-to-consumer ecommerce and digital marketing data sources, including Shopify, Klaviyo, Attentive, Google Analytics, Meta, Google Ads
- Experience with omni-channel data analysis, including experience with ecommerce, wholesale data, operations data, and financial data
- Experience leading a data team or function in an organization is preferred
