Full-Time Data Architect

Role Overview

A Data Architect will lead architectural discussions and design exercises to build and automate large-scale migration of data with our clients and Hakkoda teams in the UK and Portugal.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing system requirements and implementing migration methods for existing data.
• Migrating critical databases across multiple database platforms.
• Developing database migration solutions to ensure client data is stored effectively and securely.
• Leading architectural discussions and design exercises.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, MIS, or related field
• 6+ years proven work experience in data warehousing/BI/analytics
• 3+ years as an Architect
• 3+ years experience working in Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google)
• Understanding of migration, dev/ops, ETL/ELT ingestion pipelines with tools like DataStage, Informatica, Matillion
• Experience on Data Modeling
• Project management skills and experience working with Scrum and Agile Development methods
• Strong communication skills and the ability to guide clients and team members
• People Leadership Skills
