Data & Compliance Coordinator - Full-time Permanent role in Richmond, Australia.
Ensure accurate & timely submission of key hospital data to external agencies & Health Funds.
Support compliance, optimize revenue assurance and contribute to overall data quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Submissions of HCP, ANSNAP, PHDB, Victoria Department of Health data and more.
- Implement strategies to minimize data entry errors.
- Contribute to Health Fund audit responses and reconciliation.
- Support revenue assurance initiatives.
- Engage with stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Understanding of healthcare datasets (HCP, ANSNAP, PHDB, AROC, cancer registries).
- Proactive and solutions-focused, resolving data discrepancies.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented approach to data handling, accuracy in submission & reconciliation.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and work collaboratively.
Experience/Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in private/public hospitals and healthcare funding systems.
- University degree in health administration, health information management, nursing, or related field.
Other Skills:
- Independent judgment.
- Analyzing medical data and interpreting it within contractual arrangements.
- Analytical and creative problem-solving.
- Excellent comprehension of verbal/written instructions, processes, procedures and policy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (especially Excel, Microsoft Teams/Zoom).
