Full-Time Data Engineer

Interwell Health is a kidney care management company focused on reimagining healthcare. We aim to set the standard for the industry and improve patient lives. We are seeking a Data Engineer to contribute to our mission.

Responsibilities:

• Acquire corporate claims data.
• Develop data file loading and structure.
• Design and develop database systems, processes, and documentation.
• Collect, analyze, and design algorithms.
• Create flowcharts and implement code.
• Maintain EDW databases.
• Collaborate with development teams to deliver projects efficiently.
• Stay updated on relevant technologies for the Data Architecture group.
• Identify and research enhancement options.
• Assist with schema design, code review, and SQL query tuning.
• Write and deploy SQL code.
• Mentor junior teammates and guide them in development processes.
• Understand the Datawarehouse architecture and technology to design and develop systems.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
• Create sufficient project documentation for smooth hand-overs.
• Participate in methodology formulation.
• Train in utilizing Datawarehouse and Lakehouse tools.
• Monitor and resolve data pipeline performance issues.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of data engineering experience with a bachelor's degree, or a master's degree with 3 years of experience.
• Ability to design solutions for application integrations.
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
• Experience working under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of Azure/SQL, data lake and Lakehouse architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing.
• 3-5 years of experience with Azure Data Factory pipelines and Databricks.
• 5 years of experience with Azure databases.
• Extensive experience with MS SQL stack (SSIS and ADF).
• Extensive experience with Azure cloud migration.
• Python experience.
