Full-Time Data Engineer II

We are seeking a Data Engineer II to support our technical teams, ensuring secure data access. Ideal candidate possesses strong technical and stakeholder management skills, eager to contribute to a ground-up enterprise data platform.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior engineers to build and support the data platform and pipelines.
• Collaborate across disciplines for high-quality datasets and reports.
• Partner with engineers to define and implement coding standards, common libraries, and shared tools.
• Partner with Data Science, Researchers, and Product Managers to convert ideas into production systems.
• Protect user privacy and security through best practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 2+ years software engineering experience (Python preferred)
• 2+ years experience building data platforms and pipelines
• 2+ years experience with SQL
• 1+ years experience with observability tooling (Cloudwatch, Datadog, Prometheus)
• 1+ years experience with container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Experience with data warehouse technologies (Snowflake, RedShift, or DataBricks)
• Experience building distributed systems and data processing environments
• Experience with orchestration technologies (Argo, Airflow)
• Conceptual thinking ability to decompose problems
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Authorized to work lawfully in the USA

Salary: $120,000-$160,000
