We are seeking a Data Engineer II to support our technical teams, ensuring secure data access. Ideal candidate possesses strong technical and stakeholder management skills, eager to contribute to a ground-up enterprise data platform.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior engineers to build and support the data platform and pipelines.
- Collaborate across disciplines for high-quality datasets and reports.
- Partner with engineers to define and implement coding standards, common libraries, and shared tools.
- Partner with Data Science, Researchers, and Product Managers to convert ideas into production systems.
- Protect user privacy and security through best practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 2+ years software engineering experience (Python preferred)
- 2+ years experience building data platforms and pipelines
- 2+ years experience with SQL
- 1+ years experience with observability tooling (Cloudwatch, Datadog, Prometheus)
- 1+ years experience with container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Experience with data warehouse technologies (Snowflake, RedShift, or DataBricks)
- Experience building distributed systems and data processing environments
- Experience with orchestration technologies (Argo, Airflow)
- Conceptual thinking ability to decompose problems
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Authorized to work lawfully in the USA
Salary: $120,000-$160,000
