Data Engineer Position

We're rapidly expanding our data engineering team and need a skilled individual to work with Databricks and other technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to clients during big data project implementations (architecture, engineering, deployment).
• Design, build, and maintain Databricks solutions.
• Train users on Databricks environments.
• Manage ETL/ELT processes for data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading.
• Maintain Databricks environments while adhering to established policies and procedures.
• Stay current with data engineering trends and technologies.

Skills & Experience

• Databricks: Strong experience building solutions in the Databricks ecosystem, including Unity Catalog and cluster administration.
• SQL: Ability to write optimized, complex queries, and understand relational databases.
• Python: Proficiency in Python programming.
• DevOps: Hands-on experience with tools like Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and Azure DevOps for Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
• (Desirable) Microsoft Azure: Experience with Data Factory, Data Lake, and Azure SQL Server.
• (Desirable) Microsoft Fabric: Experience with Microsoft Fabric, or other spark engines.
