Full-Time Data Engineer with Java Experience

As a Data Engineer, you'll:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures to collect, process, and store data from various sources.
• Thoroughly unit test and document solutions to meet product quality standards before QA.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in pipelines related to data, queries, and processing workflows for efficient and timely data delivery.
• Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure accurate, complete, and consistent data delivery.
• Collaborate with Data Architects to implement best practices for data governance, quality, and security.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define and address data needs.
• Ensure technology solutions support customer and organizational needs.
• Define and document technical requirements.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong PL/SQL and SQL development skills
• Proficiency in multiple data engineering languages (e.g., Python, Java)
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Data Engineering with Oracle and MS SQL
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and cloud-based services (e.g., Snowflake)
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure and infrastructure knowledge
• Proficiency with data orchestration tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Databricks workflows)
• Understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices
• Experience working with remote teams and on teams with a CI/CD process
• Familiarity with tools like Git and Jira
• Strong problem-solving and work ethic

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
