Full-Time Data Engineering Team Lead

We’re a profitable, growth-stage company building industry-leading martech and data SaaS products for the rentals industry. We’re a 100% remote team. We get together 3 times a year in person.

We’re looking for an experienced Lead Data Engineer to help us build robust, scalable, and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a small team of skilled engineers
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines
• Allocate resources effectively
• Provide technical guidance and support
• Monitor project progress
• Make impactful individual contributions
• Lead the design of data ingestions processes
• Store data in modern warehousing solutions
• Monitor daily ingest processing
• Utilize anomaly detection
• Foster a culture of innovation
• Stay current with industry trends
• Anticipate technical issues
• Foster a culture of mentoring

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Proven track record of leading other engineers
• Organized and detail-oriented with project management experience
• Experience collecting data from the web
• Experience building and scaling batch-style data ingestion systems
• Experience with data pipeline tools
• Experience using cloud services (AWS)
• Experience with Python, Go, Ruby on Rails
• Experience building monitoring solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
