Full-Time Data Governance Consultant

Main Responsibilities:

• Identify existing data inventory processes, data quality rules, and treatment documentation.
• Describe the existing QDD organization, roles, and responsibilities for data.
• Consolidate results of POCs from 2024 to inform solution selection.
• Identify weaknesses in current processes and solutions.
• Gather stakeholder needs (Business, IT-Security, GDPR, Architecture, Infrastructure-Compliance, etc.) through workshops and interviews.
• Prepare and lead follow-up meetings with internal and business teams.
• Collaborate with technical teams to assess infrastructure, architecture, GDPR impacts and needs.
• Clarify data governance objectives.
• Incorporate market best practices for processes, organization, and target definition in the project.
• Propose success metrics to evaluate data governance effectiveness.
• Validate objectives and priorities with stakeholders.
• Propose a clear project structure, including scope, roles, responsibilities of stakeholders, and necessary resources (human, technological, financial).
• Establish the data catalog project implementation plan with the project manager, outlining key milestones.
• Formalize key steps in the support and communication plan for this type of project.

Requirements:

• Relevant IT background and experience in a similar role.
• Insurance sector experience.
• GDPR, DORA, and ACPR compliance expertise.
• Data catalog expertise.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
• Experience structuring complex, multi-stakeholder, high-strategic projects.
• Passionate about IT, creative, curious, motivated, and team-oriented.
• Autonomous, rigorous, curious, adaptable, and excellent communication skills.
