Our Data Migration Specialiststake care of migrating data from third party PMS (Practice Management System) to Provet Cloud. This is an essential role for smooth onboarding of customers who have used another PMS beforehand! 🚀
Your key responsibilities include:
- Migrate data using ready built tools
- Communicate with external and internal stakeholders about everything migration related including migration timelines, migration scope, potential issues and fixes etc.
- Create new migration tools
- Improve old migration tools with new features
What will help you to be successful in this role?This position is open to junior and/or mid-level candidates who have anywhere between 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. Ideally, you have already gained some experience from working in a fast growing, global SaaS company. In addition, our humble wishlist would be that you:
- Have a good overall understanding of databases, SQL, REST APIs and Python
- Are able to handle migration tasks, create and improve migration tools. Those can be achieved through understanding how the migration process works and what each part of the migration workflow does
- Are fluent in English with strong communication skills
- Have willingness to learn, being flexible, being communicative and levelheaded also in stressful situations
- Experience with AWS or other cloud services is a great advantage
