Job Details
Position: Data Modeler (12031-1)
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid or Remote)
Duration: 12 months
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Business and technical SMEs to understand data consumption and reporting needs.
- Understand source system data structures as they relate to customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical schemas for landing Acquisition layer, Integration layer, analytical layer in chosen Database.
- Design and develop mapping of source system data elements with common data model.
- Coordinate with ETL specialist on data mappings and conversion rules.
- Support Data Model Version Control.
- Coordinate with offshore team of developers and testers.
Technical Skills:
- BI Technologies: ETL, Reporting, Data Quality
- Database: SQL/Oracle or Appliance DB
- Data Modeling tool: Erwin or any other Data Modeling tool
- Experience with cloud solutions (Azure/AWS) is a plus.
