Full-Time Data Modeler

We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler to join our dynamic team in Barcelona, Spain.

Role Summary:

As a Data Modeler, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining data models to support seamless data integration, accessibility, and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop scalable and efficient data models.
2. Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
3. Ensure data models align with organizational policies and standards.
4. Analyze existing systems and define data migration strategies.
5. Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models.
6. Optimize data models for performance and scalability.
7. Participate in data quality assessments and contribute to best practices.
8. Resolve data-related issues and recommend improvements.
9. Ensure data models meet business objectives and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
• Proven experience in data modeling.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and relational databases.
• Experience with cloud-based data warehouse platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or Google BigQuery).
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling tools.
• Familiarity with data catalog tools.
• Knowledge of data governance principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English (required); Spanish and Portuguese (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in data migration from legacy systems.
• Understanding of data privacy regulations.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
