Full-Time Data Quality Engineer

Shift: Mid Shift

Arch Insurance International is a fast-growing insurance company providing underwriting solutions across a diverse portfolio of over 20 business classes, spanning multiple platforms.

Growth: Increased gross written premium from $783m to $2bn in 3 years; named Top Large Insurance Employer.

Data Investment: Significant investment in data, recently established a Chief Data Office.

Responsibilities:

• Resolves data quality issues in the issue management process.
• Creates and manages data solutions & visualizations for stakeholders.
• Collaborates with the onshore Data Quality team to define data sets & quality regulations.
• Conducts root cause analysis of data problems.
• Assists in timely data quality issue management.
• Investigates root causes and suggests resolutions.
• Uses dbt to build critical datasets.
• Develops data visualizations to identify data quality issues.
• Supports DQlabs integration by building rules & monitoring exceptions.

Skills Required:

• Collaboration skills
• Data engineering experience
• Relational database experience, root cause analysis
• Reporting tool experience (ideally PowerBI)
• Strong SQL & data transformation skills
• Database management systems & scripting knowledge
• Interest in quality assurance

Desired Skills:

• dbt, Snowflake, Airflow, Collibra DQ experience
• Python understanding
• Bachelor's degree
