We are seeking a Data Quality Specialist to join our Data Stewardship team, focusing on account management, data clean-up, and total addressable market (TAM) tracking. This role is critical in ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and usability.
Reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence, you will play a key role in account merging, data deduplication, and developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain a high-quality data foundation. You will also contribute to building and refining methodologies for tracking and managing TAM, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
This role requires exceptional attention to detail, a high standard for data quality, and prior experience managing or cleaning customer data.
- Data Quality & Account Management
- Maintain and improve account data quality.
- Ensure uniformity in account and contact details.
- Identify, assess, and execute account merging and deduplication efforts.
- Maintain correct parent-child account structures.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Business Intelligence teams.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) & Governance
- Develop and implement SOPs for account management and data tracking.
- Enforce data governance rules.
- Establish best practices for handling updates, merges, and validation.
- Monitor data governance compliance.
- Total Addressable Market (TAM) Management
- Support the development and maintenance of TAM models.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to refine TAM methodologies.
- Create and manage tracking mechanisms.
Experience: 2+ years in data stewardship, data governance, business intelligence, or sales operations.
Skills: Customer Data Expertise, hierarchical structures, customer families, maintaining parent-child account relationships, data consistency.
Technical Skills: Microsoft Excel, CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) or MDM platforms.
