We are seeking a Data Quality Specialist to join our Data Stewardship team, focusing on account management, data clean-up, and TAM tracking. This role is critical in ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and usability.
Reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence, you will play a key role in account merging, data deduplication, and developing SOPs to maintain a high-quality, reliable data foundation. You will also contribute to building and refining methodologies for tracking and managing TAM, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve account data quality, ensuring accurate and consistent records.
- Ensure uniformity in account and contact details by maintaining standardized data formats and naming conventions.
- Identify, assess, and execute account merging and deduplication efforts.
- Maintain correct parent-child account structures.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Business Intelligence teams.
- Develop and implement SOPs for account management and data tracking.
- Enforce data governance rules.
- Establish best practices for handling account updates.
- Monitor data governance compliance.
- Support the development and maintenance of TAM models.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to refine TAM methodologies.
- Create and manage tracking mechanisms for monitoring TAM shifts.
- Partner with Business Intelligence, Sales Ops, and Business Systems.
- Identify opportunities to automate processes.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
Experience: 2+ years in data stewardship, data governance, business intelligence, or sales operations.
Customer Data Expertise: Experience managing or cleaning customer data.
Detail-Oriented: High standard for data quality.
Process-Oriented: Experience developing SOPs.
Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally.
Technical Skills: Comfortable with Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) or MDM platforms is beneficial.
Data Visualization Tools: Experience with Tableau or Power BI is helpful.
