Full-Time Data Steward

The Data Steward role is responsible for data governance, quality, and integrity within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Governance and Stewardship: Implement data governance frameworks to ensure accurate, consistent, and secure data management. Establish data stewardship roles and responsibilities across departments. Define data standards, policies, and processes for data asset management and regulatory compliance.
2. Data Quality and Integrity: Oversee data quality initiatives to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability. Monitor data quality metrics. Resolve data quality issues through root cause analysis.
3. Data Lifecycle Management: Manage the lifecycle of data elements, including acquisition, storage, usage, and retirement. Ensure data security and privacy align with company and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in Data Governance or Data Management within a global CPG company.
• Strong understanding of data ingestion, proper use/consumption, quality, and stewardship.
• Ability to partner with business and technical subject matter experts to ensure standardization of operational information.
• Experience with SQL, Axon, PO, Invoice, Accounts Payable data.
• Experience with SAP (Material and vendor master), SpendHQ or Ariba MyBuy, Global Procurement.
• Preferred experience with SAP S/4 HANA and SAP MDG.
• Preferred experience with Informatica (EDC, Axon, IDQ).
• Intermediate-Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, translating business needs into data governance solutions.
