Full-Time Data Validation Chemist

AECOM is seeking a Chemist/Data Validator in our Chelmsford, MA office. Work may be remote.

The role requires technical expertise in Environmental Analytical Chemistry. Key responsibilities include:

• Validating analytical chemistry data and creating data validation reports.
• Assisting project teams with analytical methodology selection, lab proposal evaluation, and QA/QC parameter establishment.
• Ensuring data meets technical requirements and project quality objectives by coordinating with labs.
• Strong interpersonal and technical writing skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and in teams.
• Demonstrating excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver work on time and within budget.
• Assisting with lab solicitation, evaluation, selection, and coordination.
• Liaising with labs and field teams during sampling events.
• Validating analytical data according to published guidelines (e.g., NFG, DoD, EPA).
• Contributing to Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs).
• Summarizing data quality in Data Usability Assessments.
• Working independently with minimal supervision, adhering to budget and schedule.
• Regularly coordinating with Project/Senior Chemists.
