Full-Time DevOps Engineer

Role: DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless code integration and delivery.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Set up and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK stack).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and maintenance using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues for high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with developers to optimize application deployment strategies and resolve environment-specific issues.
• Implement and maintain security best practices for cloud and on-premise environments.
• Ensure backups, disaster recovery, and failover processes are in place and tested.
• Document infrastructure architecture, configurations, and operational processes.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements for system performance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, VPNs, firewalls).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus, Nagios, or Datadog).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with serverless architecture and tools.
• Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
• Knowledge of programming languages (Python, Go, or Java).
• Exposure to security frameworks and practices (IAM, firewalls, encryption).
