About the Role
Due to continued growth, Trustpair is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our production and development environments. You will be deeply involved in managing our AWS and Kubernetes-based infrastructures handling sensitive financial data, overseeing security best practices, and ensuring compliance.
Responsibilities Include:
- Own Security & Compliance: Drive security best practices, maintain compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001, propose new security measures, and ensure smooth audits.
- Manage Cloud & Kubernetes Environments: Oversee AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters, focusing on high availability, performance optimization, Infrastructure as Code, and cost-effectiveness.
- Strengthen Observability: Develop and maintain robust monitoring and alerting strategies to detect and address issues quickly using Datadog and related tools.
- Enable Development Teams: Advocate for DevSecOps, refine CI/CD pipelines, and empower teams to adopt secure practices in their workflows.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with Product to align new features with security and reliability requirements, work with Data and Customer Support to address user-facing issues, and coordinate closely with the existing SRE specializing in data.
- Lead Incident Response: Investigate production incidents, diagnose root causes, and enhance incident response processes to minimize service disruptions.
- Future Projects: Identify and execute on security improvements and major initiatives, propose and guide additional AWS services or security tools that align with best practices and business needs.
