As a Digital Designer, you will contribute to air up’s business goals by creating engaging, effective, and optimized digital and interaction designs that embody the brand. Reporting to the Head of Product Design and working within the Digital Product Design Team, you will collaborate daily with a dedicated team of in-house Product, Digital and Brand Designers, Product and E-commerce Managers, and Developers. You will develop a solid working relationship with our Product Team, participating in team ceremonies, brainstorms, and supporting ongoing projects.

Your responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Digital Product Design team to deliver designs that are on brief, on time, and consistently high in quality, with moderate supervision across various projects.
- Create and optimize digital assets for our webshop, ensuring they align with brand standards and support e-commerce goals.
- Contribute to the design and maintenance of our webshop, upholding standards of accuracy and consistency.
- Generate multiple design concepts for review by Product Designer, presenting thoughtful rationale that aligns with brand guidelines.
- Support the testing and optimization of our website, identifying opportunities to enhance performance for both new and existing content.
- Apply a mobile-first design approach, contributing ideas and implementing improvements in this area.
- Ensure accessibility is a key consideration in all design work, advocating for and implementing best practices.
- Stay informed on the latest industry trends, standards, and content inspiration, and identify opportunities for creative improvement.
- Collaborate with the Brand Comms team during website and campaign photoshoots, providing input on page templates, best practices, and layouts.
- Work closely with the Digital Product Design Team, including UX and UI Designers, to enhance the digital user experience.
That's you
- Proficiency in Design Software: Strong working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, etc.) is essential.
- Digital Asset Creation: Ability to create, optimize, and manage digital assets for e-commerce platforms, ensuring they are on-brand and support conversion goals.
- Typography and Layout: Strong sense of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy to create clean, functional, and appealing designs.
- Web and Mobile Design: Proven experience creating responsive, user-centric designs for both mobile and desktop platforms, with a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design principles.
- UX/UI Fundamentals: Solid understanding of UX principles, including, wireframing, and prototyping, and the ability to translate them into intuitive UI designs.
- Accessibility Best Practices: Knowledge and application of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) to ensure inclusive design.
Desirable (Is a Plus):
- Motion Design: Basic to intermediate skills in motion design, with the ability to create animations and micro-interactions that enhance the user experience.
- Front-End Understanding: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to communicate effectively with developers.
- Experience with E-commerce Platforms: Familiarity with e-commerce CMS platforms like Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce.
- Knowledge of Testing Tools: Experience with A/B testing and website optimization tools.
