Full-Time Director, Data Strategy and Partnerships

Director, Data Strategy and Partnerships will drive Experian's financial data strategy in North America and identify, develop, and optimize partnerships.

Navigate the dynamic financial data ecosystem to understand key players, their strengths, and capabilities. Assess the right partners for Experian.

Acquire new data sources, manage vendor relationships, and ensure regulatory compliance, working with cross-functional teams (product management, data governance, legal, and procurement).

Report to the SVP, Enterprise Data Strategy.

1. Identify and evaluate potential new financial data partnerships to enrich Experian's data offerings.
2. Collaborate with strategy and product teams to align data acquisition efforts with strategic goals.
3. Oversee testing, licensing, and integration of new data assets.
4. Build and manage relationships with data providers (aggregators, Direct-to-Consumer companies, niche providers, and public data sources).
5. Negotiate and complete data licensing agreements and vendor contracts.
6. Manage vendor compliance, renewals, and performance reviews.
7. Partner with legal and privacy teams to ensure data partnerships comply with regulations.
8. Monitor data use to uphold privacy standards and mitigate risks.
9. Implement cost management initiatives to optimize ROI on data spend.
