Full-Time Director of Business Insights

OLIPOP is seeking a Director of Business Insights to lead data-driven strategies for business decisions and performance optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a business insights strategy supporting organizational objectives.
• Drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Advise executives with actionable insights and recommendations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration.
• Oversee dashboards, reports, and analytical tools for KPIs.
• Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, finance) to identify data needs and provide insights.
• Collaborate with IT for data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Communicate insights clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
• Lead initiatives to improve analytics processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Develop predictive models and advanced analytics solutions.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years in business intelligence, analytics, or related fields, with 3+ years in leadership.
• Proven ability to deliver impactful insights influencing business outcomes.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and large-scale projects.
• Experience with SPINS, Nielsen, Circana, Numerator, Luminate, 84.51 and other syndicated, retailer and insights platforms.
• Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView).
• Strong understanding of SQL, data visualization, and statistical analysis.
• Familiarity with data governance principles and enterprise architecture.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep understanding of industry-specific metrics and processes within consumer packaged goods (CPG).
• Expertise in change management.
• Passion for Olipop and desire to make an impact.
• Comfortable in a start-up environment.
• Strong planning, organization, and project management skills.
• Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite.

Compensation: $150,000 - $175,000 base salary + bonus
