Full-Time Director, Technical Engagement

The Director, Technical Engagement is a global role focused on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AI ecosystem activities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and strategy for GCP engagement and Ecosystem AI activities.
• Lead technical solutions for GCP alliance, with expertise in cloud, network, AI, and cybersecurity.
• Be an expert on technology/solutions with GCP and AI market.
• Guide Palo Alto Networks teams on GCP security offerings.
• Understand GCP and PANW offerings, including roadmaps.
• Present as an expert to customers (technician to CIO/CISO).
• Discuss industry trends and cloud security changes.
• Lead product demonstrations highlighting unique value.
• Engage in in-person and remote customer interactions.
• Create architectures for PANW/GCP product overlap.
• Maintain and create GCP integrations.
• Achieve GCP partnership competencies.
• Provide design consultation and best practices during pre-sales.
• Participate in business development projects with GCP and AI partners.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Technical Marketing, and R&D.
• Conduct customer-facing webinars.
• Deliver product updates, roadmaps, and training to SEs and GCP Engineers.
• Deliver demos to prospects and accounts.
• Train colleagues and GCP Engineers/partners.

Experience Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of public cloud (GCP), AI, and offered services.
• High-level presentation and demonstration skills.
• 7+ years of pre-sales, consulting, or specialist sales experience.
• Proven ability to manage diverse disciplines in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong communication (written and verbal), presentation, and demonstration skills.
• Strong motivation to assist with winning business.

Team and Commitment:

• Coordinates Palo Alto Networks GTM activities.
• Central conduit for engagement management between PANW and GCP.
• Highly strategic role for public cloud initiative.
• Knowledge expert on joint sales plays.
• Presentation at QBRs, executive meetings, trainings, and events.
