Full-Time Distributed Cloud AWS DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps / Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for our core AWS infrastructure and constantly improve it in terms of automation, resilience, and robustness.

Tasks and responsibilities include:

1. Contribute to the design of a secure, scalable, and robust infrastructure code base.
2. Continuously improve our CI/CD automation to speed up deployment cycles.
3. Continuously improve our cloud infrastructure logging/auditing capabilities.
4. Collaborate with our Engineering team to identify and solve issues and tasks that can be automated.
5. Ensure the security of our cloud infrastructure and services, including reliable backup and real-time monitoring.
6. Continuously improve and test our backup/recovery strategy.
7. Contribute to the definition of our internal roadmap.

Strong AWS experience is required in:

• VPC
• EC2
• IAM
• Terraform
• S3
• Route53
• Security

Knowledge of:

• IaC Terraform
• CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and infrastructure as code
• Configuration Management tools (Ansible preferred)
• Scripting languages (bash or python)
• Continuous integration tools (GIT, JIRA, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Web architectures and services (HTTP, SOAP, REST, JSON)
• Agile development methodologies (nice to have)

Other skills:

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
