District Systems Engineer - Commercial is a vital part of the sales team, providing technical advisory to customers.

Responsibilities:

• Pre-sales technical support to commercial sales teams.
• Align security solutions with customer needs.
• Ensure successful deployments that drive adoption and business value.
• Understand customer security challenges.
• Architect solutions to address those challenges.
• Demonstrate value of Palo Alto Networks' cybersecurity platform.
• Drive technical wins and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Partner with sales to meet/exceed quotas.
• Position, demonstrate, and design security architectures.
• Drive customer adoption.
• Conduct technical discovery.
• Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements and workshops.
• Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams.
• Communicate complex security concepts.
• Orchestrate resources to drive customer success.
• Promote end-to-end security solutions.
• Stay ahead of industry trends.
• Continuously develop technical expertise.
• Contribute to the District Systems Engineer community.

Required Experience:

• 6+ years of pre-sales, sales engineering, or similar technical role.
• Strong understanding of data networking, security architectures, and cloud computing.
• Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions.
• Ability to influence key stakeholders.
• Strong technical presentation, workshop, and PoC delivery skills.
• Expertise in designing or managing security solutions (Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, or SOC).
• Experience collaborating with Customer Support.
• Preferred background in complex sales cycles.
