Your CareerAs a Domain Consultant for Cortex cloud native security, you will play a key role in defining technical solutions to secure a customer's key business imperatives. You evangelize our industry-leading solutions in cloud security, establishing Palo Alto Networks as a customer's cybersecurity partner of choice.
Your Impact
- Collaborate with account teams to recommend and develop customer solutions within your assigned specialization area.
- Present to customers as our expert at all levels, from practitioner to senior leadership.
- Assist and collaborate to respond effectively to RFIs/RFPs as the main technical point of contact for Cortex Cloud Security.
- Lead and support customer demonstrations showcasing our unique value proposition.
- Scope and lead Proof of Value (PoV) projects for prospective customers and partners, based on best practices, to ensure technical win.
- Drive high technical validation and PoV win rates.
- Discuss and highlight product alignment with customer requirements and differentiation.
- Architect solutions to strengthen and simplify customer security posture.
- Accelerate technical validation of proposed solutions.
- Document High-Level Design and Key Use Cases for proper implementation and value realization.
- Help customers build and develop services around Cortex Prisma Cloud.
- Lead conversations about industry trends and emerging changes to the security landscape.
- Discuss competitive offers and position Palo Alto Networks' solutions as the best alternative.
- Position Palo Alto Networks or Partner-delivered services.
- Initiate projects to improve individual team performance.
- Implement organizational policies and help others adopt them.
- Act as a conduit for customer feedback to Product Management, Technical Marketing, competitor intelligence, and R&D for requirements and product features.
Your Experience
- 6+ years technical sales or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in English, preferably bilingual in French.
- Hands-on experience with IaC software tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.) and CI/CD tools (IDEs, GitLab, GitHub, etc.).
- Experience with Alicloud, AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle Cloud configuration and administration of security features and services (including identity and access management, networking, firewalls, encryption).
- Deep experience in one or more cloud security areas (Shift Left, CSPM, CWP, KSPM, CIEM, DSPM, AI-SPM).
- Background in security or cloud security.
- Understanding of container and container orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).

CompensationThe compensation depends on qualifications, experience, and location. For candidates at the posted level, the expected starting base salary (non-sales) or base salary + commission target (sales) is CA$198,000 - CA$273,000/YR. May include restricted stock units and bonus.
