Collaborate within a multi-functional team to design and implement next-generation CI/CD platforms-as-a-service for internal product solutions.
Leverage Kubernetes operators and Spinnaker pipelines to automate application deployments and administration across multiple environments (on-premises and in the cloud).
Define and implement workflows, processes, and standards for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
Demonstrate a strong understanding and contribute to the continuous improvement of the studio platform, including in-house DevOps tools and custom products used for platform operations, as well as customer-facing user interfaces.
Integrate chaos engineering practices and support the development of full-stack, continuous testing environments to improve system reliability and resilience.
Continuously monitor system health, capacity, and performance indicators, driving optimization and proactive improvements.
Provide tier-3 on-call support for troubleshooting and break-fix support for production services.
Actively drive and participate in the team’s continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor and maintain platform infrastructure, using tools like Datadog for performance tracking, alerts, and capacity management.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering or Information Technology required.
Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience within the Animation Industry.
Experience in cloud-native technologies and architectures (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
Proficiency in revision control and DevOps best practices (Git).
Expert Linux experience (Red Hat, CentOS).
Previous experience supporting an Animation Studio Production environment, with an understanding of production-critical systems and workflows.
Deep understanding of animation artists’ production pipelines including its critical backend applications related to farm rendering, asset and catalog management software.
Minimum 5 years experience in operations supporting production artists and Supervisor TDs.
Domain expert in CI/CD tools and platforms such as Spinnaker, Drone, Jenkins, Ansible, Argo.
Software engineering skills, preferably working in multiple programming languages (Java, Go, Python).
Operational support experience, including platform infrastructure monitoring and problem-solving using tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or similar.
Knowledge of best practices in release management, including versioning, branching, and deployment strategies.
Clear, articulate, and personable with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively communicate sophisticated technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
Self-motivated, responsible, and diligent with the ability to work both independently and in collaborative teams.
Passionate about continuous learning and improvement, and can quickly absorb new information.

Must be able to support the PST work schedule to align with the onsite team.
Hands-on experience with public or private cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OpenStack).
Experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) or distributed tracing tools (e.g., Datadog, New Relic, or similar).

Salary range: $145,000 - $165,000
