Job Description:Dynamo Technologies LLC is seeking a Drupal Developer to support the U.S. Forest Service client. This project modernizes websites using agile development.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update websites/web applications, including Drupal/PHP CMS and legacy sites.
- Develop/maintain public-facing websites using Drupal 9, 10+, USDA Digital Strategy Playbook, and U.S. Web Design System, adhering to the 21st Century Integrated Digital Experience Act.
- Deploy websites in a centralized, scalable environment for managing themes, modules, etc.
- Design, develop, test, migrate, and maintain existing websites/web applications/components (some on external partner domains).
- Integrate websites/web applications with internal/external applications/databases.
- Use Agency-approved GitHub for source code, documentation, releases.
- Oversee development activities and report to the Program Manager.
- Write clean, efficient code following best practices.
- Support new projects as requested.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Expertise in Drupal 9/10 development
- Custom module/theme development experience
- Strong PHP development experience
- Front-end expertise (Twig, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, frameworks)
- Database management (MySQL/MariaDB, optimization)
- Drupal API/integration experience
- Composer/Drush proficiency
- Security best practices (Drupal/OWASP)
- Enterprise Drupal solution architecture (data, display, info architecture)
- Performance optimization, caching, page speed improvements
- CI/CD pipelines (Git, automated testing, deployment)
- Problem-solving/analytical skills
- Teamwork/communication skills
- Understanding of SDLC (Agile/iterative)
Education and Experience: Bachelor's in IT, Software Engineering, or related field (or 11+ years development experience).

Salary Range: $125,000-$135,000 USD
