AECOM is seeking an experienced Ecological Risk Assessor for immediate employment in the Oakland, CA office. Remote candidates in the United States are also considered. This role will involve working in a team environment, offering opportunities for career advancement and large-scale projects. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing planning documents, evaluation reports, and technical documents related to toxicological risk assessments.
- Performing statistical evaluations, exposure and toxicity assessments, and risk characterization for projects.
- Managing data and conducting statistical analysis.
- Leading toxicological risk assessment projects, managing scope, schedule, and budget.
- Applying scientific principles and technologies to solve technical problems.
- Developing business development activities like proposals and client relationships.
- Providing risk assessment expertise to clients and regulatory agencies.
- Mentoring and guiding staff.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Ecology, Toxicology, Biology, or related field.
- 8 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in ecological risk evaluations.
- Experience in developing proposals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in statistical software.
