The ELA Content Writer RoleThe ELA Content Writer will edit and design digital curriculum products and supplemental resources for the Kiddom platform. Ensure teacher and student-facing content is optimized for the digital platform.

1. Manually author/edit interactive question types using the Kiddom platform
2. Author/edit supplemental resources aligned to existing curriculum
3. Review content and provide Quality Assurance feedback
4. Perform other assigned tasks to meet project deadlines
5. Analyze and create content to align with state and national ELA standards
6. Ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications
7. Provide project updates to stakeholders regarding adjustments and progress
8. Continuously monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
9. Troubleshoot and solve problems that deviate from standard processes

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of K-12 ELA classroom teaching experience
• Strong empathy for educators
• Passion for improving education equitably
• 2+ years of instructional design experience
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
• Creative problem-solving skills

CompensationHourly compensation is dependent on geographic location, experience, seniority, and demonstrated ability during the interview process.
