About the Role We are seeking a VSOC Analyst for an embedded virtual 24/7 security operations center (VSOC) role. You will use cutting-edge technologies and practices to identify, analyze, and advise on threats impacting client safety, security, and operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor security incidents and trends using all-source intelligence (alert feeds, social media, traditional media, internal sources).
- Support the client's trust and safety function by monitoring and responding to platform issues.
- Escalate security incidents to stakeholders using established procedures.
- Track employee locations and proximity to incidents/events.
- Participate in training and drills for incident response.
- Provide ad-hoc reports on geopolitical developments and scenario planning for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively within a dispersed team to deliver high-impact services.
- Conduct research and analysis to produce insightful reports and visualizations, adhering to strict deadlines.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Interpret, organize, and visualize data
- Assess geopolitical and security threats' impact on private sector operations
- Rapidly digest, evaluate, and analyze information from diverse sources
- Provide insightful analysis of complex situations
- Multitask in fast-paced, individual and team environments

- Proficient with MS Office and Google Workspace
Qualifications
- Fluent in written and verbal Korean (including social media terminology).
- Fluent in written and verbal English.
- Bachelor's degree in related field (e.g., International Relations, Security Studies).
- 1-3 years' experience in intelligence, customer-focused roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's or above)
- Additional language skills
- Strong professional network
- Experience in intelligence, geopolitical, or security-related disciplines
- Geographic region expertise (especially aligning with language skills)
- Strong initiative and ability to independently solve problems
- Experience with social media, gaming industry, and relevant legislation
- Familiarity with mass notification systems, analytical software or OSINT tools (e.g., Everbridge, Navigator, Genetec)
